AKSAD Concludes the Program “FATIMA IS FATIMA”.
Commemorating the Birth Anniversary of Lady Fatima Zahra (sa), the Daughter of Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), on 27 December, Female Wing of All Kargil (Ladakh) Students’ Association Delhi (AKSAD) concluded” FATIMA IS FATIMA” program at Ghalib Institute, New Delhi.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech by the Joint Secretary, marking the beginning of the event.
The distinguished speakers of the event were Prof. Dr. Abid Hussain, Prof. Dr. Nayyar Jalalpuri, Syed Kalbe Rushaid, Guest of Honour, and Dr. Ziaee Nia, Chief Guest who delivered thorough speeches on the life and teachings of Lady Fatima (sa), citing her as the highest example of chastity, honor, and veiling for all women.
They elucidated the characteristics of Lady Fatima (s.a), emphasizing the role of women in building a nation based on truth, justice, resistance and ethical values. They stressed that the virtues of Lady Fatima (s.a) must be taught to counter the gender based stereotypes bolstered by so called fallacies.
This year AKSAD presented “Kaneez e Zahra Award” to the best female volunteer for the unwavering efforts and selfless service, this award will be provided after every 3 years. Likewise mementos were also distributed to the Guests for gracing the event.
Certificate of Achievement & Cash Price for the top 3 winners and Certificate of Appreciation to Participation were distributed for the Let’s Write for Fatima “Essay Writing Competition 2024”.
The program concluded by the General Secretary of AKSAD, expressing heartfelt thanks to the Esteemed Speakers, Guests, participants & volunteers.
