CEC Dr Jaffer attends KIRTI organized by incharge SAI Centre Kargil
Kargil, July 25, 2024: Chairman/ CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today attended Khelo India Rising Talent Identification (KIRTI) organized by incharge Sports Authority of India, Kargil at SAI Centre Kargil. 
Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh, Moses Kunzang was the guest of honor; Incharge SAI Centre Kargil, Ghulam Mustafa; Coaches; physical education teachers and students attended the event.
In his address, the CEC appreciated the efforts of the Youth Services and Sports Department in developing sports infrastructure and promoting sports in the Union Territory of Ladakh. 
Dr Jaffer, who was the chief guest, mentioned that the LAHDC, Kargil is always available to support the promotion of sports in the district. He emphasized to focus on games that interest students and advised them to take full advantage of the KIRTI program. 
Speaking at the event, Joint Director Youth Services Sports, UT Ladakh, Moses Kunzang said the KIRTI program aims to identify talent at grassroots level in UT Ladakh. He added the department is committed to promoting sports and taking it to new heights in Ladakh. In the end, Incharge SAI centre Kargil, Ghulam Mustafa presented a vote of thanks.
