CEC Feroz Khan inaugurates free SSC coaching scheme

Orientation program for selected aspirants held at Auditorium Hall, Kargil

 

KARGIL, MAY 23, 2022: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today inaugurated free SSC coaching scheme during an orientation program for the selected candidates here at Syed Mehdi Auditorium Hall, Kargil.

 

On the occasion, besides the CEC, Executive Councillor Aga Syed Abass Rizvi, Executive Councillor Mohsin Ali, Deputy Commissioner/CEO Santosh Sukhadeve, ACR, SE R&B, ACD, PD-ICDS, DTO, GM-DIC, members of coaching monitoring committee, teaching staff of Ladakh Academy and aspirants were present.

 

The LAHDC and District Administration Kargil took the initiative of free SSC coaching to familiarize the aspirants with the new examination pattern of the SSC.

 

Only sincere and talented students, after free and fair examination, have been selected for the free coaching to ensure maximum result in the upcoming Ladakh recruitments.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the CEC Kargil said the coaching has been provided under subsidy component of the LAHDC where the cost is shared between the government and beneficiary in 75:25 percent ratio respectively.

 

Notably, in order to minimize the burden on students, the 25 percent share is also provided by the District Administration from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.

 

Quoting authentic sources, the CEC Khan said the applications for SSC posts will be notified within a week. Accordingly, the examination is also expected to be held within two months.

 

Regarding the district cadre posts, the CEC said the District Administration is working out on the vacancies that will also be notified as soon as possible.

 

Khan further assured to conduct free, fair and transparent examination in district cadre posts. He said the LAHDC is emphasizing on keeping the PSC for Ladakh common with JK-PSC until a separate PSC is established for Ladakh for ease of the aspirants.

 

He further appealed the UT Administration to notify Ladakh Residence Certificate rules for Gazetted Posts of Ladakh.

 

On the occasion, DC Santosh gave tips and tricks to face the competitive exams and also advised the aspirants to remain concentrated on studies till the goal is achieved. He assured that the monitoring team will monitor and supervise the overall functioning of the coaching and progress of the aspirants.

 

As a strategy to remain concentrated for examination, the DC advised aspirants to focus on two things—sleep at night and wake up in the morning with a desire—to qualify the exam.

 

Addressing the aspirants, Coaching Monitoring Team members viz DTO Kargil Iftikhar Hussain, SDM Drass Anwar Hussain, ALC Raziya Khatoon and Headquarter Assistant to DC Kargil Arifa Iqbal emphasized on exam preparation strategy, study time management, exam time management and other tips and tricks in order to qualify the exams.

 

They all assured full support and guidance to the aspirants from time to time with their supervision. Ladakh Academy team and teacher Zubair Khan while speaking on the occasion appraised aspirants on timing, class schedule and syllabus of the coaching.
