CEC Kargil chairs meeting about maintenance, housekeeping of Council Secretariat

Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today chaired a meeting about the maintenance and housekeeping of the Council Secretariat, LAHDC, Kargil.
Executive Councilor, Er. Punchok Tashi, Executive Councilor, Zakir Hussain, Executive Councilor Kacho Mohammad Feroz, Executive Councilor Aga Syed Mujataba Mosavi, besides sectorial heads of various departments attended the meeting.
Detailed discussions were held upon various provisions to build a proper functional structure for maintenance and housekeeping of Council Secretariat and Council Quarters.
The CEC directed the concerned department to prepare Request for Proposal within three days and furnish detailed report which includes provisions of engagement of sweepers, plumbers, electricians and other manpower on outsourcing basis to the Chief Controller Finance (CCF) LAHDC, Kargil for future comments and necessary inputs.
CEC Kargil also informed the meeting that CCF will be Nodal Officer and R&B 2nd Division Kargil Mechanical Department will be the Nodal Agency for over all supervision of LAHDC assets.
During the meeting, the CEC said an order will be issued by DC Office Kargil for the deputation of AEE and JEE in Council Secretariat for taking care of electricity, water and other needs.
Later, the CEC also expressed condolence on the sad demise of mother of Director Education Ladakh who left to heavenly abode few days back.
The CEC also extended his best wishes to Adul Mutalib for his promotion as Chief Engineer PW(R&B) PMGSY, Ladakh.
