Srinagar, December 08:
Cluster University of Srinagar today flagged off its Women’s Badminton Team to participate in the Women’s Badminton All India Inter-University North-Zone Tournament scheduled to be held at C.T. University, Ludhiana, Punjab, where 128 teams from various states and Union Territories will be competing.

The flag-off ceremony was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) G.M. Lone, Sports Secretary, Cluster University of Srinagar, who encouraged the student players to uphold discipline, determination, and professional excellence throughout the tournament. He emphasized the University’s continued commitment to promoting women’s participation in sports and expressed confidence in the team’s ability to represent CUS with distinction on a national platform.

Dr. Sheikh Burhan-ul-Haque, Sports Coordinator, CUS, addressed the team and advised the students to stay focused, display teamwork, and adhere to the highest standards of sportsmanship. He motivated the players to seize the opportunity to showcase their talent and competitive spirit against some of the finest university teams.
The students assured the dignitaries of demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship and a strong performance during the tournament.
Five students from various constituent colleges of Cluster University Srinagar are part of the team and will represent the University at this prestigious event
