DC Kargil discusses preparation for implementation of Viksit Bharat Yatra
Kargil, Nov 08, 2023: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting to discuss preparations for the implementation of Viksit Bharat Yatra to achieve saturation of the flagship scheme in the district.
The meeting was attended by all concerned district officers, Lead District Manager etc.
It was informed that Viksit Bharat Yatra will be launched on November 15 in 110 districts across the country. Basic objectives are reaching out to the vulnerable who are eligible under various schemes but have not benefited, dissemination of information and generating awareness about schemes, Interaction with beneficiaries of government schemes through personal stories / experience sharing and Enrolment of potential beneficiaries through details ascertained during the Yatra.
During the meeting, various schemes for Rural and Urban awareness were thoroughly discussed. Heads of Departments provided latest status about saturation and strategy to achieve it during Yatra.
Schemes under focus during Yatra are PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna, PM Ujjwala Yojna, PM Kissan Saman Nidhi , Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Urban), PM Vishwakarma, JJM, PM POSHAN etc.
Further, it was informed that a Mobile IEC Van will cover all panchayats as well as Urban areas with objective of saturation of all schemes and awareness.
