DC Kargil inaugurates smart classroom at GMS Tumail

Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today inaugurated a smart classroom at Government Middle School (GMS), Tumail in Sodh Block for which the smart board has been provided by the District Administration Kargil.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by ZEO Kargil, Mohd Mussa, Sarpanch Halqa Tumail, Akhone Muhammad Ali, Headmaster, staff members, students, parents and others.
The new facilities at GMS Tumail are expected to benefit students of the area and help them in their overall development.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, DC Santosh emphasized the importance of providing quality education to all students. He lauded the efforts of the school administration, teachers and other officials for their hard work and dedication.
He said the smart board has been installed to provide students access to modern learning facilities, promote overall development and to make the learning process easy.
DC Kargil said District Administration is committed to promoting education and efforts are on to take measures to further improve the quality of education in government schools.
The Deputy Commissioner congratulated the School Administration, Sarpanch, students and parents for the installation of smart board in the school.
DC Santosh said for an effective learning process, visualization is the best option and the smart board will provide the same for students. He also advised students to focus on study. DC Kargil also advised the teachers to help the students in developing the all-round personality.
During the inaugural ceremony, the DC also interacted with students. The students also presented colourful programs. Earlier, the students warmly welcomed the DC.
DC Kargil also said that the staff will be provided as per the student: teacher ratio in the school. Regarding the request for boundary wall, the DC instructed the concerned ZEO to look into the matter.
On the occasion, the ZEO, Kargil Mohd Mussa thanked the DC Kargil for providing the smart board to the school that will ease the learning process and make it interactive. He also stressed the school administration for handling the facility properly.
Earlier, the Sarpanch Halqa Tumail, Akhone Muhammed Ali presented the memorandum of demands which included fodder for livestock, submersible lift irrigation system for irrigation purposes and boundary wall for the GMS Tumail.
