KARGIL, 05 APRIL, 2022: Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve today took stock of availability of facilities for students at temporary district library building at Eidgah.
General Manager District Industries Center Kargil, Iftikhar Ahmed, District Librarian Zahoor Ahmed besides other concerned officers accompanied the DC during the visit.
DC Santosh took stock of availability of basic facilities including availability of books, safe drinking water, separate washrooms for girls and boys, internet facility, sitting arrangements and other basic facilities in the library.
DC Kargil directed district librarian to do the proper electrification of the library and also install water purifiers for the students within the library hall.
While assuring early construction work of new library building, DC Kargil assured that the dismantling of old library building and construction work of new building will be started at the earliest.
