LDirector RD&PRD, Tahir Hussain Zaubdavi tours to Zanskar
Kargil, July 16, 2023: As part of 3-day tour to Zanskar, Director Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (RD&PRD), UT, Ladakh, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi along with Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Ghulam Muhammad on Saturday visited Rantaksha, Tungri, Karsha and adjoining villages in Zanskar Sub Division where he interacted with various public delegations to know about their grievances and demands.
During the first day of visit, the director inaugurated CFC Phay and Tungri Block Karsha in presence with ACD Kargil Ghulam Mohd, Exen REW, Kargil, Shabir Husain, BDC Zanskar, Stanzin Sandum, Block Development Officer, Twang Rigzine and other staff of RD&PRD Kargil.
The Director RD&PRD interacted with BDC panchayat and the people at large and patiently listened their grievances.
On July 16, the Director inaugurated Children Park, Raru Block Lungnak, CFC Padum, CFC Salapi and Ice Hokey Rink at Salapi and handed over to the panchayat.
He also interacted with the public of Raru. During the interaction, the Director assured them that all genuine demands and issues will be considered for appropriate follow up.
The director also gave a pateint hearing to the grievances of the area and assured to develop rural infrastructure like public library in each panchayat, children park, footpaths etc. so that the villages get converted to rural model villages in future.
On the occasion, Zubdavi said that the department is conscious of the difficulties faced by the people in these areas.
He assured the delegations that all their genuine demands would be taken up on priority and steps for fulfilment of demands would be taken in a phased manner.
Later, he also took an assessment of ongoing developmental work in the area and instructed for completion of work on time.
