The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today cleared over 66 pending time bound promotion cases of non-gazetted employees of different departments in Kargil district.
The committee examined the proposals submitted by the concerned departments on case basis in consonance with the recruitment rules and other allied requirements of employees.
The pending TBP cases of 1 non-gazetted employee of DIPR Kargil, 2 of Fisheries Department, 1 of District Motor Garage, 1 of Handloom, 16 of Municipal Committee, 1 of ITI, 44 of Health were cleared by the committee and these cases were pending for long time.
The employees of these departments expressed gratitude to the chairman DPC and Deputy Commissioner Kargil clearing the cases and paving way for their due promotions.
Meanwhile, the Chairman DPC has asked the officers of different departments to ensure submission of all promotion and time-bound promotion cases of their respective departments in a timely manner to avoid undue hardships to the employee who have already qualified for promotions.
