Dy Chairman inaugurates Reinforced Teacher Training programme in Khaltse 

Leh, Nov 01: The opening ceremony of the second phase of the Reinforced Teacher Training programme was held at Government Higher Secondary School Khaltse, today.

Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk was the chief guest whereas Councillor Khaltse Lobzang Sherab was the guest of honor. Chief Education Officer Leh, S.D Namgail, District Education Planning Officer Leh, ZEO Khaltse, HoD DIET Leh, Principal GHSS Khaltse, Project Head and Chief Trainer of Golden Mile Learning, Dr Neepa along with Golden Mile Learning Ladakh Coordinator were among the present during the occasion.

The Reinforced Teacher Training Phase-2 programme was conducted to promote and enhance superior pedagogical methods among the English teachers of Leh Ladakh. The said training programme was conducted and supported by the LAHDC Leh in collaboration with SECI and is being implemented by Golden Mile Learning (GML), initiated from Khaltse and Nubra.

Dy Chairman Angchuk briefed about the said training programme and further advised the teachers to take utmost benefit from this training. He expressed gratitude to the implementing partner of the Golden Mile team for successfully conducting such programs in Ladakh.

Councillor Khaltse, Lobzang Sherab also addressed the gathering and appreciated the organisers and the supporters for organising such training for the teachers which he said is the need of the hour. He urged everyone to participate actively and take benefit from such training.

Teachers from various schools of the Khaltse sub-division participated in the said training programme.
