EC Kacho Mohd Feroz attends district-level Kala Utsav-2023 at Auditorium Hall Kargil
Kargil, Nov 07, 2023: Executive Councilor, I&FC/PHE, Kacho Mohd Feroz today attended a day-long District Level Kala Utsav-2023 competition organized by Samagra Shiksha Education Department Kargil at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
Besides, Chief Education Officer, Kargil Mushtaq Ahmad, the program was attended by concerned officers/officials, juries, students and others.
While speaking on the occasion, the EC Feroz appreciated the efforts of the Education Department for hosting such events and lauded the efforts of CEO Kargil for his dedication and promotion of education in the district.
He also said the competition will allow the students to showcase their inner potential and talent.
In his keynote address, he said the LAHDC Kargil is committed to supporting the programs that offer student opportunities to showcase their talents.
The EC advised aspiring students, who will perform at the national level to exert their effort and become ambassadors of Ladakh’s rich tradition and culture at the national stage.
He added that talent is abundant among the youth, emphasizing the importance of proper guidance and opportunities to harness their potential.
The EC appreciated teachers for their role in highlighting diverse art forms within the schools. He saw student performances and personally inspected paintings, drawings and models crafted by the talented young artists during the event.
On the occasion, CEO Kargil delivered a warm welcome speech, expressing gratitude to LAHDC, Kargil for their invaluable support in advancing education in the district.
During the event, students from different zones of District Kargil performed various artistic expressions in different art categories including Dance-Folk, Folk-Song, Visual Arts (2D), Visual Arts (3D), Drama (Solo Acting), instrumental music etc.
The performances were judged by a panel of jury to evaluate all the competitors to finalize the winners of the competition.
At the end prizes and appreciation certificates were distributed among the position holders. Special momentos were also presented to the dedicated judges, cultural team and others for making the event successful.
