EC Sheep Husbandry inaugurates 70 prefabricated houses constructed under Changthang Development Package
Leh, Nov 29: Executive Councillor, Animal/ Sheep Husbandry Department, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee visited Barma Kargyam and Chushul villages of Durbuk sub-division.
Councillor Chushul Konchok Stanzin; Nominated Councillor Konchok Tsephel; Chairperson BDC Konchok Phunchok; District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Leh, Dr Tundup Namgial, and Block Veterinary Officer, A&SHD, Durbuk also accompanied EC Tashi Namgyal.
EC Namgyal interacted with the nomadic livestock rearers and inaugurated 70 insulated prefabricated houses constructed under Changthang Development Package this year.
The village representatives along with the livestock rearers expressed great satisfaction over the timely completion of the project enabling them to smoothly face the harsh winter.
EC, Councillors, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nyoma along with the concerned officers/officials also visited Hanle village.
