Executive Councilor for ZDA, RDD, Cooperative, and Information, LAHDC Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi, today inaugurated the Zanskar Buddhist Association Office cum Multi-Purpose Library at Maniringmo Padum. The facility was constructed at a cost of โน1.50 crores under the District Capex Budget.During the inauguration function Area Development Officer/SDM Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk and President Zanskar Buddhist Association, Paksang Lawang, President Lambardar Association Zanskar and other Sub Divisional Officers were present.
While addressing the gathering, the EC emphasized the importance of maintaining communal harmony and requested the President ZBA to reserve a room for patients from remote areas and non-locals admitted to the hospital.
The ZBA President assured that a room would be set aside for patients and other individuals in need who come to the subdivision for treatment.
