EC Tashi Yakzee inaugurates month-long training on Traditional Astrology in Leh

Leh, Jan 23: Executive Councillor for RDD, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee inaugurated a month-long workshop cum training camp for astrology aspirants of Ladakhi society in Leh today. The workshop is being conducted at the Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, (LAACL) Leh and funded by LAHDC Leh.

EC Tashi Yakzee expressed his happiness to witness active participants attending the training camp for a month. He further informed that Hill Council, Leh has initiated such trainings and workshops to revive the age-old traditions of Traditional Astrology in Ladakh and hopes to conduct more such programmes at a larger scale in the future. He extended his good wishes to the participants and hoped that the training would make little impact on their learning processes.

Similarly, Culture Officer, Dr. Thupstan Nurboo highlighted the need for preserving the age-old tradition of Astrology and its importance in the day-to-day lives of Ladakhi people. He expressed gratitude to the Hill Council, Leh, for taking the initiative in organising such training for the aspirants.
