GDC Nubra organises intramural road race
Leh, Oct 25: The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Government Degree College (GDC), Nubra organised an intramural road race as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
The intramural road race was flagged off by the Principal, GDC Nubra, Dr Tsewang Motup, which started from the College Campus and culminated at the Academic Block covering a distance of 4kms. Principal, GDC Nubra emphasised the participation of students in different co-curricular activities and building team spirit.
In the boy’s category, Stanzin Tashi of Semester 2 won the 1st position, Rigzin Namgyal of Semester 5 won the 2nd position and Ghulam Hussain of Semester 4 won the 3rd position. While Bilquis Banoo of Semester 4 won the 1st position, Padma Dolma of Semester 2 won the 2nd position and Tashi Lamo of Semester 4 won the 3rd position in the girl’s category.
