GMDC Zanskar and Gargi College New Delhi sign MOU for next 5 years under Vidya Vistar Scheme of Delhi University

Kargil, June 08, 2023: Govt. Model Degree College (GMDC), Zanskar and Gargi College New Delhi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today for the next five years under Vidya Vistar Scheme of Delhi University.

The program was attended by Prof. Sangeeta Bhatia Principal Gargi College and MNM Shabani, Principal GMDC Zanskar at Gargi College Delhi in presence of IQAC members of Gargi College.

MNM Shabani gave the overall development aspect of Zanskar College and extended invitation to staff and students of Gargi College to Zanskar.

Important collaborations were discussed like students and faculties exchange programs, research exchange, cultural exchanges, split semesters between students, academic bank of credit facilities, coaching for NET JRF, CUET examinations, skill enhancement and value-added certified courses to be collaborated in the future.

Principal and staff of Gargi College expressed their willingness to visit Zanskar along with students’ group.

The faculties of Gargi College also expressed their interest to collaborate Zanskar-specific research on flora and fauna, climate impact and issues concerning the tourism industry.
