*_Bus Service launched for students, Councilor Ali Chandan commits Rs 10000 per month for smooth running of the bus service_

 

*Kargil, 02 April 2022:* Govt Higher Secondary School Shargole today organised its annual Parent-Teacher Meet. A large number of parents, public representatives including Hon. Councilor Shargole Constituency Sh. Mohd Ali Chandan, BDC Shargole Sh Nurboo, Sarpanches, and numbersdars attended the mega-event.

The ocassion began with the Hon’ble Councilor interacting with the students wherein he took first hand information regarding the functioning of the school as well as the issues being faced by the students. The students also briefed him about the staff and subject stream requirements.

Later, the main event began with the Principal Sh Ishey Namgail welcoming all the guests, and put before the house detailed information about the performance of the school in the previous academic year. He also put forth the plans of the school for the current year and sought suggestions from all the stakeholder for making the functioning of the school even better. He urged the parents to extend cooperation by monitoring the students once the students are back home from their school. He hoped that the joint efforts of the school authorities accentuated by the efforts of the parents will enable the students to realise their true potential. He thanked the Hon’ble Councilor and the Chairperson BDC Shargole for their dedicated efforts for sanctioning of the school bus under the LAHDC Capex Budget. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Education Officer Kargil and the Chairman/CEC LAHDC Kargil for fulfilling this long pending demand of the students. He said that the bus service will help the students save their precious time, by easing the transportation scenario.

In his address, Hon. Councilor Mohd Ali Chandan appreciated the school staff under the supervision of the Principal Sh Namgail. He congratulated the parents and the staff for the annual results of the school and the initiation of the school bus service. He stated that education has been a priority for the LAHDC Kargil and all efforts are being made to further improve the infrastructural requirements of the school. He thanked Hon’ble Chairman LAHDC Kargil and informed the house that efforts are on for sanctioning and construction of a toilet complex and two additional classrooms in the current financial year. He urged the students to make all out efforts in terms of their studies. In order to facilitate smooth running of the new school bus, he committed to provide Rs 10000/- per month.

 

Speaking on the ocassion, BDC Chairperson Sh Nurboo stated that the the authorities are doing their best for providing all the required amenities for the students. He expressed his thanks to the Hon’ble Councilor and the LAHDC Kargil for sanctioning the bus for the school.

 

The parents were informed about the performances of their wards and we’re urged to monitor the students at their home. The parents expressed their satisfaction at the performance of the school and thanked the Principal and the school staff.

 

On the ocassion, students presented colourful cultural programs. The bus was launched by the august guests present on the ocassion. The event concludes with vote of thanks delivered by Sh Mohd Hussain Akhone.
