Fresh snowfall in high-altitude regions led to the partial closure of the Leh–Manali Highway on Wednesday, officials confirmed. Snow accumulation near Baralacha La and Sarchu has made the route unsafe for travel.
Authorities have deployed BRO teams to clear the road.
Travelers have been advised to avoid night travel and check the latest updates before planning their journey.
According to officials, traffic will be allowed only after clearance work is completed and weather conditions improve.
Tourists traveling toward Ladakh are urged to carry winter gear and keep emergency supplies.
