LG Ladakh R.K. Mathur unveils maiden magazine of GMDC Zanskar
Kargil, Nov 16, 2022: The Lieutenant Governor Union Territory of Ladakh, R.K. Mathur today unveiled the maiden college magazine of Government Model Degree College Zanskar titled “Shestap” (wisdom) at a function held at Industrial Training Institute, Leh.
The Lieutenant Governor, who was chief guest on the occasion, unveiled the magazine in presence of Poonam Mathur First Lady of UT Ladakh, Padma Angmo, Commissioner Secretary Higher Education, Prof. Sameena Director Colleges, Prof. Nasir Shabani Principal GMDC Zanskar, Prof. Yangdol Principal Govt. Degree College Khalste, Dr. Tashi Lundup Convenor of the magazine and Dr. Jamphel Sheyan Editor-In-Chief of the magazine.
While praising the magazine, R.K. Mathur congratulated the team of faculty and students for coming up with a well thought magazine. He further encouraged the Principal and editorial team to continue this magazine and make it a yearly affair.
The Commissioner Secretary Higher Education also congratulated the Principal and faculty members of GMDC Zanskar for the release of their maiden magazine.
On this occasion, Prof. Nasir Shabani gave an overall overview of the magazine.
