Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education Kargil observes Silver Jubilee Celebration

Kargil, Nov 16, 2022: Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education (JAME) Kargil, Ladakh today observed its Silver Jubilee Celebration (25th anniversary) at the Higher Wing of the JAME.

Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan was the Chief Guest on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner/ CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve was the guest of honour and Joint Director Information UT Ladakh Imteeaz Kacho was the special guest on the occasion. Besides Chief Controller Finance LAHDC Kargil Iftikhar Hussain; who is also General Secretary of the JAME, Vice President Jamiat-Ul-Ulama Isna Asharia (JUIAK) Kargil Hujjat-Ul-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Ali Mufeedi, General Secretary JUIAK Hujjat-Ul-Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili, Principal JAME Anil Kumar, Management Committee of School, alumni, representatives of various Private Schools, students and faculty members were present on the occasion.

Speaking at the event, the CEC congratulated the school for completing 25 years in education sector and shared his personal association with the school. He said he had the opportunity to supervise the construction of the lower wing of the school.

Khan paid homage to the vision of clerics associated with JUIAK back then in 1995 for establishing a private school where students from all sections of society get quality modern education.

The CEC advised students to focus on their career and education in a way that they are able to serve in their respective fields globally.

On the occasion, DC Kargil said basic education in Kargil is satisfactory; however, Higher Education needs to be prioritized.

He further said that in order to improve School Education, District Administration is taking various steps including outsourcing of lecturers and in near future subject-specific teachers will be engaged as well.

The Deputy Commissioner advised students to popularise reading culture amongst them in order to get a global perspective and gain more knowledge.

The Joint Director Information Ladakh while sharing his experiences said that he is fortunate that he was associated with the school in its initial years as a volunteer teacher.

He also shared the struggles that the faculty and students had to go through while working in a humble rooftop space of Islamia School.

Kacho congratulated the school for successfully completing 25 years and added that it is a moment of pride that all alumni of the school are serving at better positions in society.

On the occasion Vice President JUIAK Sheikh Mohammad Ali Mufidi, General Secretary JAME and CCF LAHDC Kargil Iftikhar Hussain and Principal JAME Anil Kumar also shared their views and thoughts amongst the audience.

Earlier, colorful cultural programs were presented by the students. School toppers were also felicitated by the dignitaries. Later, the dignitaries were also facilitated by the school management.

Incharge Higher Wing and member of the Management Committee Murtaza Khalili presented the welcome address and Vice Principal Manzoor Hussain presented vote of thanks.
