NHM Ladakh Issues Waiting List Selection for Medical Officers (MBBS); Candidates Asked to Report for Verification

Leh/Kargil, Dec 23, 2025:

The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), has issued the waiting-list selection of Medical Officers (MBBS) on a contractual basis under NHM Ladakh.

As per Notification No. 19/SHS/UTL/NHM/HR/2025-26 dated 10 November 2025, six Medical Officers from the waiting list have been provisionally selected against available vacancies under NHM UT Ladakh.

The selected doctors have been directed to report to the Office of the Mission Director, NHM, Skara, Leh within seven days from the date of issuance of the order for document verification. Their final place of posting will be decided by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Leh/Kargil.

The notification has been circulated to the Director of Health Services, CMOs of Leh and Kargil, offices of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary UT Ladakh, LAHDC authorities, Information Department, AIR Leh/Kargil, Doordarshan Kendra Leh, and other concerned departments for necessary action and wide publicity.

The NHM Ladakh continues to strengthen healthcare services across remote and high-altitude regions by filling essential medical positions and ensuring availability of qualified medical professionals for public welfare.
