Save the Children donates oxygen concentrator to Dedicated COVID-19 Hospital, Kargil

KARGIL, MAY 29, 2020

Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan dedicated 10 oxygen concentrators to the Dedicated Covid Hospital Kargil at Council Secretariat here today.

The oxygen concentrators have been donated by the NGO Save the Children.

Executive Councillor for Works Mubarak Shah Nagvi, Executive Councillor for Social Welfare Aga Syed Hassan Arman Mosavi, Executive Councillor for Health Muhammad Ali Chandan, Assistant Manager Administration and Procurement, Save the Children Altaf Hussain, District Immunization Officer Dr Muhammad Abbas, Nodal Officer Dedicated Covid Hospital Kargil Dr Muhammad Abbas, Orthopaedician Dr Jaleel Ahmad Wani, Pathologist Dr Haji Muhammad Ali besides other concerned officials were present on the occasion.

CEC Feroz Khan Kargil expressed gratitude to Save the Children particularly the State Head, J&K Programme Office Muhammad Sharif Bhat or providing the concentrators which he stated will to a great deal help in the augmentation of patient care facilities during the the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic in the district.

The CEC said further said that the LAHDC Kargil expects Save the Children to continue with humanitarian services considering the prevailing pandemic besides other public welfare activities as well.
