SDM Shakar Chiktan reviews Republic Day arrangements
Kargil, Jan 13: SDM Shakar Chiktan, AG Zargar today reviewed arrangements ahead of the Republic Day celebration and inspected ongoing developmental projects in Tehsil Shargole.
He took a review of preparations for Republic Day celebrations. The SDM directed to make the event memorable and encouraged maximum public participation. All Sub Divisional Officers attended the meeting.
Following the meeting, the SDM visited the Government Higher Secondary School Shargole to inspect the winter hostel facilities. He appreciated the efforts of teachers for making arrangements for winter classes and assured them of all possible assistance.
The officials inspected developmental works in the region, including JJM projects, Fish Farm, and resolved issues within the electric department. The SDM directed for timely completion of developmental works. He also stressed on increasing enrolment in government schools.
