SDM Zanskar inspects condition of Nimmu–Padum–Darcha road
Kargil, Jan 29, 2023:
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay today visited Pidmo to review and inspect the condition of the Nimu-Padum-Darcha (NPD) road.
The SDM requested 13 BRTF Commander to ensure road clearance from Zangla to Kilima in view of tourist arrival for participating in Zanskar Youth and Tourism Winter Festival 2023. The 13 BRTF Commander assured to clear the road by tomorrow.
SDM Zanskar also interacted with Lambardar of Zangla and other villagers and appealed them to organize the winter festival scheduled in their respective villages.
He also welcomed and interacted with tourists coming via Chadar Trek. The SDM appealed them to join the winter festival in Zanskar which will be held in the coming days.
