SDM Zanskar visits Pipcha village, resolves solar power plant issue

Kargil, Feb 09, 2023: SDM Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, today visited Pipcha village to resolve the solar power plant issue and dedicated it to the public. During the visit, he was accompanied by CDPO Zanskar, Tashi Gurmeth and representative of KREDA.

On the occasion, the villagers thanked the SDM for replacing the defective Power Driver Card (PDC). The SDM appealed villagers not to use heavy power consuming electric gadgets.

The villagers assured SDM that they will only use LED bulbs. The SDM and villagers of Pipcha also thanked the villagers of Pishu for providing the PDC for their solar power plant.

Also, on the direction of SDM Zanskar, Naib Tehsildar along with police personnel visited Phay to monitor the road condition as three oil tankers were stuck at Manda village due to slippery road. They brought the tankers to Padum and also provided accommodation to the drivers in view of the advisory of weather forecast issued by the MeT Department.
