SE PW(R&B) Circle Kargil visits Photang Gonpa Zanskar to review progress of works

KARGIL, AUGUST 05, 2022:

Superintending Engineer, PW(R&B) Circle Kargil Abdul Mutalib along with officers today visited the sites of Photang Gonpa Zanskar to review the progress of works carried out in connection with the visit of His Holiness Dalai Lama to Zanskar from August 11 to 13.

The SE was accompanied with Executive Engineer, Tourism Development Authority/R&B Zanskar, Assistant Executive Engineer (R&B) Zanskar, Junior Engineer concerned, President Buddhist Association Zanskar and other representatives of Photang Gonpa visited the sites of Photang Gonpa Zanskar to review the progress of the works.

President Zanskar Buddhist Association informed the SE that the progress achieved at Photang Gonpa is appreciable and are sure that the balance work carrying out through the R&B Division Zanskar shall be completed on the stipulated time.

The Superintending Engineer directed the concerned Engineers of (R&B) Zanskar to speed up to complete the balance work of preaching stage and inner road works.

Later, the SE inspected the ongoing work sites of Kishrak to PWD Store road, Kishrak Chowk to Chorola Chowk, SDM Residence, Police Station Zanskar buildings, Helipad Padum and Hospital Building and directed the concerned Engineers to achieve the targeted progress on all the works well in time.
