Leh, July 2: Secretary, Tourism, Culture, Labour, Employment and FCS&CA, UT Ladakh, Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan, chaired a meeting regarding Har Ghar Tiranga, ease of doing business etc.
Ladakh will observe ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme along with the rest of the country from 11th to 17th August 2022 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. While issuing directions to the concerned officers, he asked them to make necessary preparations to make the programme successful. The Secretary said “The National Flag/Tiranga is the symbol of national pride and as mark of celebration of 75 years of independent India the national flag will be hoisted on all houses, important tourist spots, commercial buildings etc. The Secretary directed the officers to make it a peoples movement.
While discussing “Ease of Doing Bussiness”, the Secretary informed that efforts are being made on reducing regulatory burden through simplification of regulations, digitisation and integration of manual processes with online mechanism and through digitisation.
The Secretary instructed the Deputy Labour Commissioner, Ladakh to reach out to labourers/workers at worksites to achieve 100% registration of labourers on the eShram portal and ensure that they become eligible for all social security schemes.
Director, Tourism, Ladakh; Director, FCS&CA, Ladakh; Deputy Excise Commissioner, Ladakh; Deputy Secretary, LAACL, Kargil; Deputy Labour Commissioner, UT Ladakh; Deputy Director Employment, Kargil; Assistant Director, Tourism, Kargil and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
