Sheep Husbandry Department Kargil organises one day KCC awareness camp at Kargil
In Ladakh, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Department of Sheep Husbandry Kargil organized one day training program on Kissan Credit Card (KCC) sponsored to different banks by the department.
Councilor Town LAHDC Kargil Haji Mohd Abbas Adulpa was the chief guest on the occasion.
Sheep Husbandry officer Kargil Dr. lftikhar Hussain, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kargil Dr. Ismail, Assistant Director DPIR & Assistant Commissioner Labour Department Razia Khatoon, Block Veterinary Officer Kargil Dr. Zakir Hussain, Officer in charge Pashmina goat farm Khangral, Representatives of all the banks, concerned officers, A large number of panchs and sarpanches from different villages were present as participants.
Councilor Haji Abbas thanked department of sheep husbandry for organizing the one day training for the welfare of farmers. He said that earlier there was KCC scheme in the department of Agriculture only. Now with the help of this training, the breeders came to know that there is KCC scheme in the department of sheep husbandry, animal husbandry and fisheries department as well.
District Sheep Husbandry Officer Dr. Iftikhar Hussain talking about the aims and objectives of the scheme said that it is a Nationwide AHDF KCC that commenced from 15 November 2021 and will continue till 15 February 2022 in UT Ladakh.
Dr. Ismail while interacting with the participants explained the reasons of rejection of cases that has been submitted by the department to different banks.
Meanwhile the participant’s shared their feedbacks about the training program and put forward the grievances of the villagers.
On the occasion two sanctioned cases by J&K Cooperative Bank were handover to the beneficiaries by the Chief Guest. Dr. zakir Hussain shared the details about the sanction, dispersed, rejected and pending cases in different banks. The representatives of different bank also highlighted about the terms and conditions and guidelines of availing the scheme and also addressed the issues related to bank formalities.
