Leh, October 1, 2026: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, in collaboration with the CBSE Skill Education Department, organised the Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2026-27 at TCV Choglamsar .
The programme brought together students, educators and young innovators for a day of learning, creativity and inspiration. The event was graced by Ms. Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Administrative Secretary, School Education and Skill Education, UT Ladakh, as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director, Skill Education, CBSE, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Other distinguished dignitaries included Dr. Ravinder Pal Singh, Additional Director, and Mr. Saitsh Pahal, Joint Director, Skill Education, CBSE, New Delhi.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome address by the Principal, TCV Choglamsar, Mr. Dhondul Jigme.
Students from participating schools enthusiastically presented a variety of innovative models and projects, showcasing their creativity, knowledge and practical skills. The exhibition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding through hands-on projects and innovative ideas.
The guidance sessions were conducted by Dr. Subrat Sharma, Er. Kunzes Dolma, Mr. Dorjey Angchuk, Ms. Pooja Arora and Mr. Mohd. Salim. The sessions focused on emerging technologies, animation, VFX, gaming and future educational and career opportunities, providing students with valuable insights into various skill-based fields.
