Social Welfare Department Kargil celebrates Children’s Day

Kargil, Nov 14, 2022: Social Welfare Department Kargil today celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm in child care institution.

The day was celebrated in Bal Ashram, Baroo Kargil. In the function DSWO, TSWO, Superintendent Bal Ashram and other officials of the department were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, singing dancing and other activities were presented by children. In the end, gifts and sweets were also distributed to the children.

The DSWO encouraged the children with valuable words and highlighted child rights and particularly deliberated on the importance of self-respect and self-identity.

He said providing love and guidance to the children were the only ways of doing justice to the core idea of observing the birthday of the great leader late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
