Successful Workshop on AB-PMJAY and ABDM concluded in Leh.

 

A one-day workshop and re-orientation session focusing on the factual data and current status of AB-PMJAY, along with an interactive session on ABDM and NextGen e-Hospital, was organized in Leh. The event, facilitated by the State Health Agency and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), UT Ladakh, saw active participation from key healthcare figures.

 

Notable attendees included Dr Motup Dorje, CEO State Health Agency, UT Ladakh, Dr. Phunchok Norboo, Director (Coordination) ABDM/ State Nodal Officer AB-PMJAY, Dr Diskit Dolma, CMO Leh, Dr Tashi Motup, I/c MS, Dr Iqbal Ahmed SIO, Dr Farhana Iqbal, DHO Leh, BMOs, Super Specialist, Specialists, MOs, State team of PMJAY & ABDM, DEOs, other medical staff from various PHCs & CHCs.

Commencing with a warm welcome speech by Dr Phunchok Norboo, the workshop unfolded with a detailed presentation by Mrs. Essar Batool, Capacity Building Specialist ABDM, Ladakh, covering the Status of ABHA, District Health Incentives Scheme (DHIS), Health Professional Registry (HPR) and HMIS Status.

Dr. Motup Dorje, passionately urged participants to implement health schemes at the ground level with precision and dedication. Emphasizing the importance of leaving no beneficiary behind, Dr. Dorje stressed that the true success of the workshop should manifest in tangible improvements within health institutions.

Dr. Dorje’s call for a positive impact resonated strongly, underlining the workshop’s goal to enhance healthcare delivery.

Ms. Tsetan Angmo, State Financial Consultant, SHA, Ladakh provided insights into the Status of PMJAY and Claims paid under PMJAY.

Additionally, Ms. Rigzin Dolma, HMIS Manager, Leh delivered a demonstration on the Clinic module in NextGen e-Hospital.

 

Dr. Motup Dorje and Dr Phunchok Norboo addressed the concerns raised by participants during the discussion sessions, ensuring a comprehensive and interactive exchange of ideas.

This workshop marks a collaborative effort to enhance healthcare initiatives, fostering understanding and utilization of AB-PMJAY and ABDM for the betterment of healthcare services in the region.
