Two week long programme of โSwachhata Hi Seva’ Campaign (2024) from 17th September to 02 October was conducted with a cleanliness drive near main bridge Khaltse by Rural Development Department Khaltse in collaboration with Merchant Association Khaltse under the banner of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ today on September 17. Rural Development Department Khaltse identified the Black Spots near main bridge Khaltse.
During the program, Block Development Officer Khaltse, Pankaj Rajput said that the campaign ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2024’ aims at enhancing public awareness about sanitation and waste management and he also appealed to all general public to coordinate with the department in the said campaign and keep the surrounding clean.
Similarly, as per schedule, a painting competition held at Panchayat Halqa Fotoksar of Singaylalok Block and Swatchhata pledge was taken at Skurbuchan Block and every panchayat Halqas of Sub Division Khaltse.
Block Development Officer Khaltse, Pankaj Rajput; Block Inspector Skurbuchan, Rigzin Yangjor, Panchayat Secretary Khaltse, Nahida Akhtar; President Marchant Association Khaltse, Thinles Dorjay and officials were present during the campaign. Shopkeepers from Khaltse market also participated in the cleanliness drive.
