Training program on EVMs held in KargilΒ
Kargil, Jan 15 : In view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the Office of Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer, Kargil today organized a training program on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for the designated District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) and authorized representatives ofTehsil Offices at Conference Hall, Baroo, Kargil.
Fourteen (14) designated DLMTs of the district along with the representatives of the Tehsil Offices attended the training program.
The DLMTs and the Tehsil Office representatives shall further elaborate the method of polling through the EVMs to the general public and encourage them to take part in the on-spot Mock Poll Facility for their effective sensitisation well before the polls.
On the occasion, the resource persons elaborated the features and functioning of EVMs to the participants and imparted hands-on demonstration to them. They were also informed about the operational procedure of the EVMs and briefed the participants about it.
