UT Ladakh reports seventeen new Covid-19 positive cases

Seventeen patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 05: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seventeen new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.

While a total of 373 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 169 sample reports in Leh and 186 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that seventeen patients were cured and discharged, out of which 9 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 8 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. UT Ladakh received 17 positive sample were received, out of which 16 were received by CMO Leh and 1 by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is, 83 out of which 76 active cases are in Leh district and 07 active cases are in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 1833 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 324 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 193 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
