UTDRF organises awareness on Disaster Management
Kargil, Jan 17: Union Territory Disaster Response Force (UTDRF) of Ladakh Police in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) today organized an awareness camp at Deputy Commissioner Kargil Office premises to enhance disaster preparedness and response.
The event focused on knowledge to ensure the safety and well-being of the community in the face of emergencies.
The participants were briefed on the primary objectives of the camp, which included educating participants about fundamental principles of disaster management. Topics covered during the session included the first-aid approach, emergency lifting methods, and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques.
Chief Planning Officer, Kargil, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Accounts Officer (AO) to the Deputy Commissioner and employees from the DC Office Kargil attended the camp.
