Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp held at Pashkum Panchayat 

 

Kargil, Nov 15, 2023: To ensure the saturation of flagship government schemes, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was organized today at the Office of Panchayat Ghar Pashkum-B.

 

During the event, block-level officers of RDD&PRD, District Administration, Food Civil Supplies, Industries, Fisheries, Agriculture, ICDS, Social Welfare, Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission, and Health Department besides other allied departments were present.

 

Chairperson, BDC, BDO, Pashkum, Block Level Officers, Sarpanch Pashkum-B, Sarpanch Pashkum-A, local Panches, Junior scientist KVK Kargil, Dr Mansoor Hussain and concerned officials of NYK Kargil were present. The villagers were informed about various direct beneficiary-oriented schemes, aiming to uplift their lives.

 

At the outset, Viksit Bharat pledge was taken by participants, including the Chairperson, BDC, and others, which was communicated online with the Hon’ble Prime Minister.

 

During the camp, a thorough health screening was held, encompassing essential health check-ups such as blood pressure and sugar level assessments.

 

Attendees had the opportunity to receive instant ABHA Cards and Ayushman Health Cards, providing them with quick access to healthcare services.

 

In addition to health services, agricultural-related concerns were addressed by expert advisors on-site. The experts assisted in resolving issues related to agriculture, ensuring that the farming community received valuable insights and solutions to enhance productivity.

 

The camp also focused on Jal Jeevan Mission initiatives, offering guidance and support to mitigate water-related challenges in the region. One of aspects of the event was the provision of direct beneficiary-oriented benefits to the villagers on the spot.

 

This included the distribution of various benefits and resources designed to uplift the community and improve their quality of life.

 

Later, District Panchayat Officer, Kargil Padma Angmo, provided insights into the overarching goal of Viksit Bharat. She underlined the program’s mission to transform the country into a developed nation. She expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement in this crucial endeavor.
