Viksit Bharat Yatra held at Tungri Panchayat Zanskar 

Zanskar, Nov-24-2023: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra today reached Tungri Panchayat of Karsha Block, to ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government.

During the event, Block level officers of RD & PR, Agriculture, Health, PHE, Handloom, FCS & CA, besides other line department were present.

Day Nodel officer Tsewang Younten briefed the participants on various beneficiary oriented schemes and highlighted the participant about the ideas behind VBSY.

During the event Tsering Norboo SDAO zanskar spoke at length about various schemes being implemented through Agriculture Department.

Comprehensive health screening was conducted, including online registration of eligible beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat.

A total nos of Golden cards were distributed and 15 beneficiaries were registered as of now 13 persons were screened for TB and sample were collected.

During the programme the Agriculture Department has saturated e kyc of Beneficiary under PMKISSAN and did Aadhar seeding of 10 beneficiaries .

The camp also focused to mitigate all the issues related to EKYC to avail the financial incentive of all the on going schemes of various department. Besides Muneer Rasul Wani (DPM) LRLM District Kargil along with the Sarpanch have distributed the bank passbooks to already formed 5nos of SHGs in Tungri panchayat.

Sarpanch Tungri Panchayat Lobzang Rinchen along with all the officers and officials of line department including Panchayat members as well as member of SHGs have enthusiastically wel come the IEC by offering Khataks. In addition to that a skit on Dharti kahe Pukar Ke was presented by the students of Govt. High School Tungri.

Besides that meritorious students in various sports activities were feliciatated by Mr. Stanzin Lobzang (ZPEO) Zanskar. ZPEO Zanskar has also spoken on numerous centrally sponsor scheme under the ambitious scheme of Khelo India.

Full banking services by J&K bank was provided to mitigate all the issues related to bank and services like aadhar and mobile nos seeding with banks account were carried out successfully.

The Day Nodal Officer expressed gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic participation and cooperation to realised the envisaged dream of Central Government.
