2552 persons of 18-44 years get 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Kargil today

9397 such beneficiaries inoculated till date

99% Health Care Workers, 88% persons above 60 years, 89% beneficiaries from 45-59 years with co-morbidities, 90% persons from 45-59 given 1st dose so far

88% Health Care Workers, 73% Frontline Workers, 92% persons above 60 years, 40% beneficiaries from 45-59 years with co-morbidities receive 2nd dose

KARGIL APRIL 22, 2021

A total of 2552 beneficiaries of 18 to 44 years were inoculated with the 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccination at different vaccination centres across the district here today, and with this the total number of beneficiaries under this age group who have been inoculated with the vaccine has reached 9397.

Moreover, the vaccination in case of other age groups including persons of 60 and above 60 years, above 45 years to 59 years and such persons with co-morbidities besides Health Care Workers and Frontline Workers were inoculated against COVID-19 at different vaccination sites across the district here today.

Meanwhile, as regards to the status of progress of vaccination achieved in the district, 99% Health Care Workers have been inoculated with the 1st dose and 88% have been given the 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine till date.

As regards to the progress registered in case of the Frontline Workers, 73% beneficiaries have received the 2nd dose of the vaccine so far.

In case of people above 60 years of age, 88% have been inoculated with the 1st dose and 92% with the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while in case of the beneficiaries under the age group of 45-59 years with co-morbidities, 89% of such beneficiaries have received 1st dose of the vaccine while 40% vaccination has been achieved in terms of the second dose.

In the age group of 45-59 years with no co-morbidities, 90% vaccination in terms of the 1st dose has been achieved so far.
