LAHDC Leh observes 76th Independence Day

Leh, Aug 15: Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh celebrated the nation’s 76th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Leh Adv. Tashi Gyalson hoisted the national flag at the Council Secretariat, Leh today.

CEC Tashi Gyalson extended his greetings to the people of Ladakh on the auspicious occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day.

“As India completes 75 glorious years of her Independence, let’s salute the martyrs for their sacrifices and thank them for giving us a bright today.”

Among present on the occasion was Dy. Chairman Tsering Angchuk, Member Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor, Executive Councillor for Rural Dev. Dept. Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel, Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC, Leh, Shrikant Suse, Councillors of LAHDC Leh, SE R&B Leh, Nissar Ahmed, and various other dignitaries and officials.
