EC Mohsin convenes review meeting of Forest Department

KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 01, 2022:

Executive Councilor, Forest LAHDC, Kargil Mohsin Ali today convened a review meeting of Forest Department Kargil with the officers of the department.

EC Mohsin welcomed the newly posted Divisional Forest Officer Kargil Dr D.R. Rawat, IFS by presenting traditional Khatak and congratulated him on assuming the charge.

During the meeting, the Divisional Forest Officer Kargil presented physical and financial achievements for the year 2022-23. He informed that works on ongoing schemes are in full swing and most of the works will be completed during the current financial year.

Range Officers also presented their target and achievements for the year 2021-22 and 2022-23. They informed that individual/community plantation works have been done in all constituencies on the recommendation of Councilors. They also informed that institutional and departmental plantations have been completed as per the target fixed by the department.

The Executive Councilor directed the Range Officers to remain in touch with the inhabitants and concerned Councilors. The EC inform them about the schemes of the department so that these are properly implemented in future.
