Teacher’s Day celebrated at GHS Thasgam

KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 05, 2022:

As part of its yearly tradition, Government High School Thasgam, Drass today celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and zeal.

The day is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of India’s second President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who himself was an accomplished teacher and dedicated his whole life for the cause. His contribution to Indian education is undeniable.

A warm welcome function was organized at the school gate with flowers, cards and a decorated entrance. Fun-filled games were also held at the school ground which reminded the teachers of their school days.

The students showcased many scintillating dance performances that highlighted the heart-warming relationship between teachers and students.

The day concluded by honouring the teachers for their valuable contributions to the school. They were felicitated by title cards by the students especially the School Headmaster Mohd Saleem Lone as a great administrator.
