Unemployed B Pharma & M Pharma degree holders urge admin for early consideration on below issues

In Ladakh there are about 350 to 400 B pharma & M Pharma degree holders and a large no of students are also enrolled in various paramedical institutes all over India.

There is no permanent recruitment has been done in both Districts for the last so many years due to which the diploma holders are in a kind of frustration as most are in a state of over age.

In a letter Zakarya Noorani added Since, the bifurcation of J&K state, The J&K pharmacy Act ,2011(1955 A.D) stand repealed by pharmacy Act,1948. The Central Government has not yet issued any notification for Ladakh union territory and nor have any information from central government to register under any section. The pharmacist of Ladakh are appealing to centre government to provide a section under which they can register their private establishment.

The letter further reads that Health and Medical Department (Leh/Kargil) a large number of posts of B.Pharma/M.Pharma are lying vacant and also there is shortage of human resource particularly in rural areas of both the Districts.

The unemployed Pharmacists urge UT Ladakh administration to advertize these vacant post for the betterment of the society as well as the betterment of the unemployed youths.

It is also informed by Feroz Ahmad M pharma holder that That the registration process of Pharmacist of UT Ladakh as of now the J&K Pharmacy Council is not considering the diploma holders of newly formed UT Ladakh.
Also requested the UT Ladakh admin to take up the issue with J&K Pharmacy Council for the registration purpose till UT Ladakh has its own Pharmacy Council.
