Leh, June 13: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Sonam Chosjor convened a meeting regarding the celebration of 8th International Yoga Day in the district in collaboration with Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), Leh.
The meeting discussed about the arrangements in order to celebrate the Yoga day at Open Stadium, Spituk on June 21.
The meeting deliberated on the arrangements for yoga trainers, yoga mat, transportation, seating arrangements, decorations, refreshment, transportation, publicity, parking, and other necessary arrangements.
ADC Leh directed the concerned departments to make the required arrangements at the earliest in consensus with Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), Leh.
District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO), Leh was appointed as the nodal officer regarding the preparation of the International Yoga Day.
District Superintending Engineer, PWD (R&B), Leh; Superintending Engineer, PHE, Leh; Deputy Secretary, Culture Academy, Leh; Chief Education Officer, Leh; Principal EJM College, Leh; Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Leh; Assistant Director Information, Leh; Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh; Deputy Superintendent of Police HQ, Leh; Executive Officer, MC, Leh; DYSSO, & Founder President, MIMC, Leh attended the meeting.
