Baqirya Health Care and Research Centre Kargil, following the series of Menstrual Health and Hygiene Program, organised sensitisation program for Women Staff of SNM Hospital Leh.
The program was attended by Doctors, Nurses, Nursing Orderlies of SNM Hospital.
Dr Nasreen Fatima Gynaecologist, Vice President BHC&RC highlighted the aims and objectives of Baqirya to organise such program. She said that the pads that we use has health, environmental as well as economic ill effects.
She expressed her experience of using Menstrual cup besides she explained the benefits of Menstrual cup.
She gave a detailed power point presentation on Menstrual Health and Hygiene.
At the end of session, free Menstrual Cups were distributed among the participants
