CEC Dr Jaffer holds meeting with residents of Karboo village
Kargil, March 12, 2024: Chairman /Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd. Jaffer Akhoon today held a meeting with local villagers of Karboo Village.
The meeting was attended by Councillor Bhimbhat, Abdul Wahid, SDM Drass, Vishal Atari, Naib Tehsildar Asgar Ali, along with villagers from Karboo.
The meeting extensively discussed the concerns raised by villagers regarding the drone survey of Karboo village for compiling the list of inhabited areas, the inclusion of households previously omitted from the list, and various other related matters.
CEC Kargil instructed SDM Drass to conduct a resurvey of the village using modern digitization methodologies and techniques to rectify any discrepancies promptly.
CEC Dr Jaffer emphasized that this issue isn’t confined to a single village but is a district-wide concern that requires collective action.
