LS Elections-2024: DC Kargil inspects Election Strong Room, Counting Centre
Kargil, Mar 14, 2024: Deputy Commissioner/ District Election Officer (DC/DEO) Kargil, Shrikant Suse along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Kargil Shree Raam, today inspected the Strong Room and Counting Centre at Kurbathang, Kargil.
The inspection was aimed to evaluate the preparedness for upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024 in the district.
DC and SSP, Kargil jointly conducted a thorough inspection of the Election Strong Room and Counting centre, which is an important part of the integrity of the electoral process.
The DC reviewed every aspect of the counting centre and strong room’s security, infrastructure, power backup and other facilities in place.
ASP Kargil Nitin Yadav, Executive Engineer, R&B division, Kargil, NT Election and other concerned officials were also present during the inspection.
