CEC Feroz Khan attends farewell in honour of outgoing principal GMDC Zanskar, Nasir Shabani
Kargil, July 09, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan on Saturday attended a farewell in honour of outgoing principal GMDC Zanskar, Nasir Shabani at Hotel Chutuk Height, Kargil.
The farewell was organized by Executive Councilor, RD, Tourism and Zanskar Affairs, LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi and Councilor Karsha Constituency, Stanzin Jigmath
The CEC appreciated the efforts of Nasir Shabani due to which the college witnessed growth and development since its inception in 2013 and wished him best for future.
On the occasion, EC Tashi thanked Nasir Shabani for shaping Zanskar College from scrap in 2013 to a macro-level institution over the past 10 years of his administration.
He stated that an example of such a developed college is an asset not only for the Zanskar valley but also for the district Kargil and the whole Union Territory of Ladakh.
Nasir Shabani said that whatever has been done to make Zanskar College a full pledged institution is due to the constant support of CEC Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan in various capacities.
He also thanked Executive Councilor Punchok Tashi and Councillor Karsha Constituency for the honour.
Besides that, he also thanked UT Administration, District Administration Kargil, Councilors from Zanskar all the other concerned departments. He said the cooperation and support of people of Zanskar was also instrumental to achieve such success.
