CEC Feroz Khan chairs meeting regarding issues of Health Department at Council Secretariat

 

Kargil, July 19, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan in the presence of Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Srikant Balasaheb Suse, today chaired a meeting regarding important issues of the Health Department Kargil at Council Secretariat.

 

Executive Councilor, Health, Mohsin Ali, Superintending Engineer, PWD, R&B Circle Kargil, Chief Controller of Finance, LAHDC Kargil, Chief Medical Officer, Kargil, Executive Engineer R&B, Medical Superintendent and other officers were present during the meeting.

 

Detailed discussions were held on various issues including engagement of dental surgeons on temporary basis, construction of CHC at 26 Post at Budgam village, identification of land feasibility for the construction of NTPHC in Choskore village, land compensation, construction of de-addiction center, reappearing of central heating at Sankoo hospital, allotment of staff quarters for nurses, paramedical staff and doctors, deployment of staff nurse and paramedical staff in old district hospital Kargil, filling of vacant post of BMO at Chiktan, identification of additional land for construction of medical college, housekeeping staff for Council Secretariat and other related issues.

 

The CEC gave a patient hearing to all the issues and said the issues will be addressed in a phase manner. Khan said regarding the engagement of dental surgeons on temporary basis, he will write a letter to Advisor to Hon’ble Lt. Governor Ladakh for early redressal.

 

Regarding the construction of CHC at 26 Post Budgam village, Khan directed DC Kargil to take up the issue with the Army officials. Regarding identification of land feasibility for the construction of NTPHC in Choskore village, the CEC directed CMO Kargil to identify suitable land and accordingly inform DC Kargil for further process.

 

The CEC also directed Medical Superintendent to deploy nurses and paramedical staff in rotation basis at old district hospital Kargil. He also directed CMO Kargil to fill the vacant post of BMO at Chiktan at the earliest. Khan also directed to engage housekeeping staff for Council Secretariat on outsourcing basis.

 

Meanwhile, the CEC Kargil requested DC Kargil to visit on the site of allotted land for the construction of medical college and mark the additional land.
