CEC Feroz Khan interacts with United Indus Batalik cricket team

Kargil, June 17, 2023:

Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today interacted with players of the United Indus Batalik cricket team at TFC Kargil regarding the issues and problems faced by players.

During the meet, the CEC congratulated and appreciated their performance as they defeated some of the good teams during the matches. The CEC wished and hoped that they will perform even better in the coming tournaments.

The team captain Mehboob Hussain presented a memorandum to the CEC which included demand for a cricket ground, uniform, cricket kit, mat, net etc. besides financial support during the tournament.

CEC assured that all the demands would be fulfilled in a phased manner. He announced Rs 50,000 for the team and said that cricket kit would be provided at the earliest. Regarding the ground, the CEC said that a suitable ground would be identified and the cricket ground would be constructed.

The players thanked the CEC, who is also the Councillor of the area, for organising the event and for a patient hearing to the issues of the players. They assured that they will do their best in the upcoming tournaments.
